Philadelphia Airport sleeping suites

PHL joins the world's busiest airport, Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International, in adding this new service through Minute Suites that allows passengers to relax, conduct business and even sleep in a small room between flights or during long delays.

"The Minute Suites® is an innovative concept that speaks to the needs of today's air traveler," said Airport CEO Mark Gale. "It is one of many amenities the Airport offers that is designed to make time spent at the Airport more comfortable as well as productive whether it's a service that meets the needs of a business traveler, an amenity that makes for a more pleasant visit, or a specialty shop or restaurant."

mini hotel at PHL features 13 private suites and two workstation cubicles located in the A/B Link, making it nearly three times larger than the Atlanta location where the concept has hosted over 10,000 guests since opening its doors on November 18, 2009. Suites are priced at only $30 for a one hour minimum stay and then $7.50 for every 15 minutes thereafter. Rate reductions begin at four hours including a flat overnight rate of $120.
Each suite is equipped with a daybed sofa that features two sleeping surfaces with fresh pillows and blankets. A sound-masking system in each suite neutralizes noise, and the unique NAP26Tm audio program helps deliver the equivalent of three hours of sleep in only 26 minutes! The rooms have a high-definition television with access to DIRECTV, the Internet and flight-tracking information.
