Delta Connection service Charleston to DCA

Delta Connection will launch its largest wave of new service from a single city Friday with 20 daily non- stop regional jet flights at Washington Reagan National Airport.
This expanded Delta Connection service at Reagan National enhances travel opportunities for many more customers from many more communities," said Fred Buttrell, president and chief executive officer of Delta Connection, Inc. "Customers traveling to or from Washington have a convenient choice of 70 non- stop Delta, Delta Shuttle and Delta Connection flights to 14 U.S. cities."

Delta currently offers 36 flights in and out of Charleston International Airport to Atlanta, New York – LaGuardia, Detroit and now to Washington, D. C.
Delta began service to Charleston in July 1934 - 77 years ago.

the DCA CHS service will be on a comfortable 50-seat CRJ regional jet in a two-by-two seating arrangement; every seat is an aisle or window, with no middle seats. The plane can cruise at a speed of 530 mph at altitudes as high as 41,000 feet and is recognized as the quietest commercial jet aircraft in the world.
