Chengdu was included in the rankings of the Famous Cities of the World in 2009 released by The World Famous Brands Assembly last week in Tokyo, Japan.
31 cities in China were on the list, including Beijing, Hong Kong, Macao, Shanghai, Taipei, Suzhou, Wuhan, Xian and Nanjing.
